It cooled things off and turned everything green, now it seems early summer “normal”.
You will be glad to hear I found my hanging basket liners :) I found them at the Anderson’s store. I was so grateful I bought twice the amount intended. I have both the sphagnum liners and the coir. Happy, happy day. ( it doesn’t take much to cheer me, does it?)
The ground is saturated enough to be good for planting – need to finish that up today. I have been procrastinating. The blue, clear skies and the soft inviting ground beckons me, however. I will answer their sweet call today.
I also happened upon some Rumford brand tools at the same Anderson store, and since finding my desired liners put me in a buying mood, I also tossed a pair of pruners into the basket. This The Rumford Gardener Forged Bypass Pruner

I also located some of my misplaced tools in the garage. Since I have this wonderful new pegboard to hang them on there is no more reason for missing tools. My dear Handyman made it for me this spring. He is languishing for comments every time he posts, now, but I assured him that blogging is like that and that we don’t post enough for regular visitors. As for me, it is time for me to reassemble the back porch furnishings since he has finished with staining the floor with deck stain. He was all high gear and now is a little pooped – so the rest of the deck furniture will wait ’til the railings are stained. We did things a little out of sync.
