When I used to dress up for church- I always ruined my heels by venturing out in the garden for just a little looking and imperceptible weeding before having to leave.
Now I go to a casual church and what I wear in the garden is not a lot different from what I wear to church!
i wear tall spike heels.
especially in the mud

J- I don’t remember my mom ever looking like that in a dress, she was a bit heftier and didn’t wear fitted bodice styles. Your mom was younger than mine, which probably accounts for the difference.
I remember when my aunt from the city used to come and visit on Sundays.
