I found an excellent set of wise observations while looking at that great “Handyman” picture. It might have been a slightly younger version of the Handyman who is honing his writing skills here, which is why I posted it (really).
He said I looked better than Wonder woman… and I’m like “yeah, right, HA!” but what do you want ….sweetie, darling, dear ;) ?

Principles for Handymen
It really pays to figure things out yourself! For me, it is usually fear of the unknown or laziness that keeps me from doing-it-myself. But after you figure something out, there is great satisfaction and when the problem arises again you are ready!
A handyman isn’t someone who knows it all already, but is willing to learn about something whenever the opportunity arises.
Start with small projects, then work your way up.
Read some old handyman books for home and car repair, they’re cheap at garage sales!
Then work your way through some of the other pages. I thought “Legal Eagle” was equally sensible. (Sadly, no longer available on its original site)

Principles for Being a Legal Eagle
Learning how to deal with legal things is not
fun, don’t you agree? But, here are some time-tested principles we’ve used to resolve things, and they have worked for us.
Do the right thing as best as you can to avoid legal issues.
Seek to treat your ‘adversary’ kindly and think no evil, but assume the best unless they prove a lack good faith or honesty.
Seek a advice from people you know who have wisdom.
Settle disputes out of court if at all possible. Most people are reasonable and want to work to settle it by communication, good faith, and sometimes compromise.
Try to see the other persons point-of-view.
Accept that some people are not honest, and want confusion, distortion, and lies, to strategize mischief. Fight that.
Pay for what you damage or ruin, and for all consequences of your wrong actions.
Pay for what you borrow and break.
Don’t play favorites if in a position to, be fair and don’t show partialilty in judgements.
Treat foreigners fairly too.
Pay all your taxes and honor the government.
Be obedient to all authorities.
Don’t take or give bribes, which can blind us and undermine justice.
Bribes bring a curse upon us.
Be fair to the rich and poor alike.
Cover for the weak and defenseless.
Seek a good attitude even when disagreements arise.
Be accountable to God and know He will bless your actions if they are upright.
