Perhaps you are more aware of Raven’s Nest than I was; if so, you perhaps read this excellent post on grasses in the landscape. I have long been looking at grasses as a way to make my gardens more in keeping with the environs here ( this was once prairie), but that isn’t the only reason I was so taken with this little post and its tip on planting grasses. The pictures amount to something of a photo essay, and I am in envy over Raven’s knack with a camera, and eye for the landscape. A thing of beauty. If I borrowed one of her pics it would light up this blog, but instead I beg you to see for yourself how beautiful grasses can be on a sunlit day.
About Ilona Erwin
I was a garden blog pioneer, and began writing on this blog in 2003. Before that I had begun a garden website that has been at its own domain since 2006, Ilona's Garden.
I still love writing, gardening, and art after all these years, although travel and grandchildren have become a big part of my life, now.
