Sometimes life gets ahead of me, as you know if you read any of my blogging, but lately I’ve been trying to catch up on blog reading and finding my place in my internet activities. Today I noticed that my blogroll has languished unattended for quite awhile. I added May Dreams Gardens finally. I can’t believe how I made that oversight!
Carol is one of the finest and most active garden bloggers, although now I’m in trouble – as there are more than a few that qualify for that description. Annie of Austin has a wonderful garden blog- and she’s always free with leaving comments, which is really nice, her friendly soul and her garden exploits are always a joy to read. Her enthusiasm is catching- and Texas has that southern climate, so there is year round garden news.
Kathy Purdy is a top notch writer- she makes everything seem so easy- but anyone attempting to do any of these things, -the writing, the gardening, the daily family life- knows that she is just exceptional. I really don’t know how she does it, but she does it and well.
Looking around, I realize there are so many new, and good, garden bloggers on the block. I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of acquainting with them yet. Once the busy spring season is over I need to try to “get out more” and visit my blogosphere neighborhood.
I really appreciate it when you leave comments, partly because it is so encouraging and partly because that is one way I find new blogs and new gardens. ๐

Hi Illona, 10 kids, good grief, I’m amazed you have had time for anything else. ๐ When I first started blogging which wasn’t all that long ago, I had to search a lot for garden blogs. Now with the advent of the Garden Voices its easy to find new blogs and looking at the links people have on their own blogs are a great resource for new blogs. Now I don’t seem to have enough time to visit as many as I want.
