I’ve admired a graphics artist, Dani, for some time, going on upwards of eight years or more. She now blogs and while visiting her blog, Artful Thoughts, I discovered she has some great resources for nature journalists. Garden journaling is simply a branch of nature journaling, something that has been practiced since olden times. It seems that the state of our gardens and jotting down the observations of nature are a common interest through centuries and eras!
Dani had a squidoo page, Nature Journaling, with all sorts of resource links, and she had made some free downloadable notebook pages to print. I think you can find ideas to help you make a gardening notebook of your own.
I’ve depended quite a bit on this blog as a garden notebook- at least I don’t misplace it! One thing for sure is the folly of depending on one’s memory for the many planting details over the years.

I’m sorry to say Dani has removed all her work from the web that was referenced by this post.
