I did a post @ my Happy Thoughts blog earlier in the season, take a look if you missed it.
I have a couple new pots of paperwhites and other bulbs from Smith&Hawken that I am planting this week- no plant deprivation for me this winter!
I had a favorite Aunt ( I was named after her) who had a great deal of joie de vivre. She had a way of living that celebrated in daily ways, and that made her a very charming person. She was also very accomplished, in almost everything she set her hand to, actually. She was a concert pianist, a smart business woman, and at one early point had worked for a hotel and could keep a home that Martha Stewart would have envied. I was always a little in awe of her.

Don’t we all wish we could be like Martha Stewart? It is good to have a favorite memory of favored aunts during Christmas time.
I got some paper whites and hyacinths discounted at a local nursery and going to attempt for the first time trying to force them. Hope we both have good luck with the experience.
Good luck to all our garden efforts:)
Yes, I often sigh over some of the famous Stewart ideas, but there are only so many hours in the day 😉
I love paperwhites. They are so fun to pot up in various decorative ways.
