A few pictures from the past weeks adventures.
We went to Highbanks Park, which once we visited often. It had been a long time, so we decided to take a hike ๐ and were glad we did. This picture is of a large Sycamore that caught the light.
Another picture shows a common wildflower blooming at this time of year…
The Ohio Historical Center had an interesting display on landscaping in Ohio from times past. There were diaries, collage displays, and a display of old garden books. Of course, I spent lots of time here while the rest of the family moved on, and then had to catch up to them.
We won’t find these prices again any time soon!
That’s a great line drawing in the newspaper.
The weather’s still good in this corner of France so in an effort to avoid the Autumn psychology I’m pretending it’s August the 37th!
( I just read your Labor Day post)
No September over here then.
That wildflower looks like baby’s breath.
Ah Rob, what a great little mind trick ๐ I hope the effort prolongs your summer joy:)
TC- I genuinely don’t know what that is… it grew in the woodsy shade throughout the park. I’m going to try to track down the name. I don’t know wildflowers as well as the garden variety.
Photos can fool a bit- the stems were sort of soft and not stiff, but the blooms sure are like what I’ve known as baby’s breath.
