I can’t believe it. It rained during the time I was on vacation and it has rained each day since I came home. Although we went ahead and mowed once in between. Through some standing water in the field, no less….
I have no idea how this will affect the plants in the garden. Rain forests are good for plantlife, so maybe all this lush and soggy climate will be an asset. I did plant some new starts from the lavender and dianthus. Soft growth shoots that I think should root quickly in the warm moist earth.
The sweet gums are not yet responding… they are still even more yellow. I will add more ironrite later today. Everything else looks good. Although this sure isn’t the weather for tomatoes.
