I went ahead and switched, but it is taking a little time to get everything straight away in my blogging. It’s been cool and rainy although we missed the hail and tornado warnings here- which is good! My mother is actually doing the gardening right now, although I wish she and I were more on the same page. She likes to pull and prune and demands that things are done on “her” time. so her rose was planted, and the iris were cut down and she feels that I need to prune all my bushes. I’d better hop to it so she doesn’t give them a military haircut. I like the more natural look in pruning away specific branches and I really hate the types of bushes I have trimmed back to topiary shapes. They are viburnums for goodness sake!
But I have not gotten to any of the gardening this week. I have, however, chauffeured quite a bit and done a bit of cleaning. Along with numerous other non-gardening activities.
I do love the foggy mists of the season, and don’t mind the rain. I just don’t want to dig in the damp ground! The leaves are beginning to turn here- it may be a colorful show from the looks of things right now.
