Gail Eichelberger is rethinking her garden. I have been doing that, as well. Not completely in the same way, but I have added raised beds to the veggie garden in the past two years, and I am steadily reworking things to be better maintained by this aging garden enthusiast!
I am also taking things slower when it comes to the writing and photographing activities, so I can spend more time living my life and gardening. I wish I could do it all… I think we all have desires (or should I say delusions?) for being a Renaissance Super Power X-Gardening Maven. But I content myself with the idea that reworking is sometimes the pathway to something as satisfying and perhaps better in the long run.
I write this without access to my photos… so perhaps I may get some posts with those long promised pictures and topics. In the meantime read Gail’s post and tell me what you think, if you can traverse back here.

The Garden of Inniswood Metro Park during March of 2012, when everything was at least a month ( sometimes more) earlier than it usually is in Ohio.
Do you have “rethinking” going on about your gardens?

ยฉ 2012 written for Ilona’s Garden Journal. An excellent blog.
I am always rethinking things including what’s in the garden and how well it works for me. I liked your post without photos. I should do that sometimes. It was refreshing to read your words without the placement of a photo between. Thanks for the thoughts.~~Dee
HI Ilona; Have to say I don’t like blog posts without photos. I think that even a single photo brings a post to life. However a short verbal post 150 words or less in not bad.
Have a great evening,
John
