Just kidding- but it sounded kind of catchy in my mind.
I know we haven’t been posting lately and now everyone is giving up on us ever doing so, but really, it will pick up. I have been busy gardening and my husband just works, works, works, lately. Plus it has been very hot, has anyone else here in the Midwest noticed? Of course it wasn’t quite so hot when I wasn’t blogging very much, but that is beside the point!
We’ve enjoyed the fence and arbor and have taken something of a break on d-i-y projects. Although I did have the Handyman put up an outside porch light that had been sitting around for more than a year. It looks quite nice- and now I have to straighten up that side porch a bit.
Our budget is looking a little ragged come to think of it- we are in need of replacing the refrigerator. And the car before winter. Yep- those old things from the eighties are wearing out. there are some things about me I’d like to replace, but we’ll just pass that thought on by.
well… I dig around for quotes to inspire and pictures and we’ll see if we can’t arouse ye olde motivation.
