I was just wondering.
It is January, and until the last week it was weather to garden in, more than weather for garden plans, and that was rather strange. We were out digging postholes for the fence to corral the new dog. but now that real January weather has settled in, i.e. freezing temperatures, snow, ice, wind, and other inclement conditions, I have started to plan. Then began wondering what the general consensus is for gardening in this year.
Does the economy still influence us? Our generational values or stage of life?
For me, it is my age (stage of life) and my life plans for the coming year that are the main guidelines for my garden priorities. I’ll need to account for dogs, vacation plans, and a few other factors. I began more food gardening the last two years, and those plans haven’t gone so well.
Whether I lost my touch, or it was the vagaries weather, is still not certain in my mind. For the first time in a long time I will not be going out of state for periods during the first part of the garden season- that is bound to make a (good) difference!
How about you …out there in blogger reader land?
And are we going to journal online, in a book, with art or charts or what? Just wondering, still. Are you planning on attending garden shows or meetups this year?

Hi Ilona; For me it is to do more than i did last year. Trial Neurostimulator going in on Monday. If it works 6 to 8 weeks for the permanent implant.
Not a cure but may be a means to mobility to have other things check out.
